Sanders and Associates

At Sanders and Associates we do personal taxes, Small business and Non-for profit Accounting.

We are a newly established organization on Broad and Popular Sts.

We organize company’s financial data by establishing computerized accounting systems with quick-books and other accounting software to produce accounting and financial reports to be used by management to better understand financial trends and guide the organization to successful outcomes.

We also endeavor to provide small business and non-profits with  an “affordable” alternative to both  operate and manage daily financial operations to include payroll, accounts payable and standard as well as “ad-hoc” financial reporting.

I have over 30 years’ experience in the financial and accounting arena working for fortune 500 companies, small business and non-for profits in the phila area as a staff accountant, senior accountant and controller. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University in 1986 and a Master’s in Business from Arcadia University.

Our Mission is to provide affordable tax, accounting, finance and business services to the undeserved residents and small business in the greater Philadelphia area.

Our History

 

After  25 years working in the Accounting Field in a variety of different roles and levels of responsibility from staff to senior management . Steve Sanders saw a tremendous need for accounting service in the non-for profit and small business arena particularly in the inner city region of the greater Philadelphia area. This desire to serve that was initiated at home and then later matured as he served in the  US Army Reserve as an Engineer Officer (retired-rank of Major); compelled Steve to make a decision to take what he had learned in Business and Leadership  and endeavor to make an impact. After completing his Master in Business Administration in 2010; Steve felt it was time to strike out and endeavor to provide the highest level of financial services to his beloved community.
